CIP Caustic Solution is a concentrated, premium, liquid alkaline detergent. This product does not contain chlorine and is designed for challenging clean-in-place applications where low-foam characteristics are desirable. CIP Caustic Solution is strong enough to handle the most difficult soils and cleaning applications, even in very hard or soft water. This product is free-rinsing with normal water pressure. Chlorine can be added to this product to create a chlorinated oxidizing alkaline cleaner.
DIRECTIONS:
CIP Caustic Solution is designed for use at 0.25% - 2% concentration in water depending on equipment, soil, and water conditions. For heavy soil conditions in high temperature applications, use 1 - 2% in hot (145 - 185°F) water and circulate for 30 to 60 minutes. Do not let solution temperature drop below 120°F. Add 1/2 oz of 12.5% sodium hypochlorite bleach per gallon to CIP Caustic Solution use dilutions to create a chlorinated alkaline CIP detergent. Always verify if chemical has completely rinsed with pH paper or pH meter before using equipment.
